Seller Guidelines
Best practices for success on Pigmint
These guidelines help you succeed as a Pigmint seller while maintaining a consistent marketplace for everyone. Following these practices will help you build a strong reputation and grow your sales.
Inventory Quality Standards
Publisher-specific condition standards: Pokemon listings on Pigmint use TCGPlayer condition standards. Sorcery cards on Pigmint are NM+ only. Do not use custom grading language that conflicts with those standards.
Clear Photography: Upload high-quality images that show the actual card. Good photos build buyer confidence and reduce disputes.
Authentic Items Only: Never upload counterfeit, replica, or proxy cards. We have zero tolerance for fakes and will permanently ban sellers who do.
Quantity Accuracy: Only upload quantities you actually have in hand. Never oversell or pre-sell items you don't physically possess.
Pack Creation Best Practices
Balanced Checklist Composition: Packs should offer transparent checklist composition and market value references. Don't create packs where allocation rates make higher-tier cards effectively absent relative to the listed pack price.
Accurate Descriptions: Describe exactly what buyers can expect. Don't use misleading language like "guaranteed hit" unless every pack actually contains one.
Complete Checklists: Include every possible item in your checklist. Hiding items or misrepresenting allocation rates is grounds for immediate removal.
Reasonable Pricing: Price your packs fairly based on the value of contents. Extreme overpricing hurts your reputation and sales.
Shipping Requirements
Honor the Platform Buffer: Pigmint uses a platform-wide 48-hour buffer before shipments are ready to ship. Generate labels promptly after that window to keep fulfillment reliable.
Use Platform Label Defaults: Pigmint defaults to the cheapest available tracked shipping service. Shipments over $500 in merchandise subtotal default to box packaging (you can still override service/parcel details at label generation when needed).
Proper Packaging: Use appropriate protection for cards. Toploaders, team bags, and rigid mailers prevent damage and disputes.
Tracking Required: All shipments must include tracking. This protects both you and the buyer in case of delivery issues.
Consolidate Efficiently: Use the buffer period to combine orders to the same buyer. This reduces shipping costs and improves buyer experience.
Payments & Payouts
Connect Stripe Before You Go Live: Complete your Stripe connection in Seller Settings before listing packs. Pigmint uses Stripe Connect for seller transfers and cash-out.
Payout Timing: Funds move to your Stripe balance after delivery, then you can withdraw manually from Stripe whenever you are ready.
Keep Stripe Details Current: If Stripe asks for identity, business, or tax updates, complete them promptly so your payouts stay enabled.
Communication Standards
Respond Promptly: Reply to buyer inquiries within 24 hours. Quick responses lead to more sales and better reviews.
Be Professional: Keep all communication respectful and business-like. Personal attacks or harassment result in immediate suspension.
Resolve Issues Fairly: Work with buyers to resolve problems. A fair resolution often turns a complaint into a loyal customer.
